Our Story
Rider Shield 360 was born out of a deeply personal passion and a commitment to enhancing rider safety awareness within the motorcycle community. For me, riding isn't just a pastime; it's a way of life, a cherished hobby, and a true passion.
The story surrounding me starting to represent this product was a chance viewing of a Facebook post from the USA distributor, and a year later, we have started to officially sell the product in Canada and drop ship to all other countries if you order from here.
My history with motorcycling goes back to when I was ten and I learned how to start the neighbour's Lambretta scooter and rode it while they were not home! I've had a bunch of bikes between then and now, and I run my own ICBC (Insurance Corporation Of British Columbia) licensed Motorcycle Training School. Riding safety is the number one priority whenever I am teaching and I am always improving my techniques for vigilance and riding day to day.
I never thought I needed or would buy this product, but over the last 6 months of using it, I have been saved at least twice from a possible blindspot issue when I did not notice the vehicle approaching in my mirrors. I do ALWAYS shoulder check so the orange light just serves as a warning to me not to change lanes; but for the less experienced rider who does not always shoulder check, the ONE time that this saves them will be worth the money spent.
ALSO - a couple of times when I have been not paying attention in front when sightseeing, so to speak, cars changed into my lane ahead of me and the red lights got my attention immediately that something bad might be happening ahead.
At Rider Shield 360, our mission is clear, to make riding safer for enthusiasts like me, for whom motorcycles are not just machines but an integral part of our lives.
We are committed to promoting rider safety awareness and ensuring that no one has to endure the consequences of lost awareness like my colleague Tommy did.
